Hello you have arrived at the original Eastern Ontario WORM FACTORY. Established in 1985 by Jack Livingston in Perth Ontario. The Worm Factory introduced “The mini Worm Factory”, the Indoor Composter. We still offer this simple easy to use system, Red Wigglers-Red Worms {Eisenia-Foetida} do all the work.

You will notice we choose to no longer provide a worm factory kit that includes a “bin and lid”. The reason for this is we feel it is beneficial to promote a company theme that teaches the 3 R’s reduce, recycle and reuse. We encourage your household, classroom or company to be resourceful. Suitable reused containers include plastic containers, wooden boxes, dresser drawers, old aquariums, ceramic pots, old sinks or other lonely containers looking to serve a purpose. If necessary these items can be lined with plastic…now we’ve got you thinking! and reducing the carbon footprint. Let us know what you come up with. We will be glad to send you everything else to get started, worms, bedding, manual, and calcium carbonate.

We ship the Monday following your order day, therefore Tuesday to Thursday expect a Canada Post card in your mail informing you your package has arrived for pick up.
